How It Works...

Team Blogs

“Team blogs," are quite useful in situations where small groups of people wish to contribute to a single blog. Basically, one person initially creates the blog, then "invites" others to join in.

A team blog is an excellent friend/family/company communication tool. It helps small groups communicate in a way that is simpler and easier to follow than emails or discussion forums. A team blog can help keep everyone in the loop, promote cohesiveness and group culture while providing an informal window for outsiders.

About the MHS63 Team Blog

Designed for but not limited to the graduates of Monroe Senior High School, Class of 1963. You must become a team member to post on this blog. Outsiders may view and leave comments but cannot post.

Membership is by invitation only –

  • You must submit a request to join this blog.
  • An invitation will be sent to your email address.
  • If you receive error messages when trying to accept an invitation to this blog – you must return to the request console and ask for a new invitation. A Blogger invitation link will only work once, so if it has already been clicked on, you will need to get a new invitation.
  • Copy and paste the invitation link, instead of clicking it. Many web-based email services (e.g. Hotmail, Yahoo!, etc.) cause problems with the way they modify links to display them on their own sites. If this is the case, you'll need to copy and paste the link into its own browser window in order to use it.
  • If you are a MHS63 graduate and did not receive an emailed invitation – we did not slight you! It is either because we did not have your correct email address or because your email provider’s spam control blocked your invitation.

Creating an Account - Simply create a username and log-in password. Also enter a display name.

  • Don’t be confused by the “create a blog” link. The MHS63 Blog has already been created and is operational.
  • While creating your account, don't confuse the "username" with the "display name". The username is for log-on purposes only and cannot contain spaces (johndoe). The display name is displayed on your posts (John Doe) and may contain both capital letters and spaces.
  • If you're shy and would rather use an alias display name, do so. One of our classmates prefers to display the name "bloggerette63" - We don't have a problem with that. Just participate!
